All of Mark’s wind powered sculptures respond to the micro-climate, reflecting the disorganized gusts of wind in a whimsical dance, and turning the randomness of nature into a visual wonder. These particular sculptures are  great for high wind areas and good exposure will help them move more consistently. Wind Ripples will not always have both parts moving in concert. Mark believes unpredictability is what makes his kinetic wind art the most fascinating. These are not factory made, motorized products, they are reflections of the wind.

Artists Tip – From Mark: If you are seeking to find a more consistent motion from these wind sculptures and spinners, carry the sculpture around your outdoor space until you find a location and angle that you enjoy. You can tighten your set screw to no longer allow the sculpture to rotate on a horizontal axis and keep it facing one direction.

Every kinetic wind sculpture is precisely balanced to respond to as little as 1 mph winds and are designed to slip the wind, preventing them from spinning too fast. Other kinetic wind sculptures for sale are not nearly as sensitive to the wind, or as dependable in strong winds.

This kinetic wind sculpture is stainless steel and comes with a 7ft. XL pole.
